We’re pleased to announce our charity partnership with Bluebell Wood
We’re pleased to announce our chosen charity for 2019 is Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice.
The charity, based in North Anston, cares for children and young adults whose lives are sadly just too short, both in their homes and at the hospice. They believe that every family deserves to make magical memories with their child, whether they have years, months, weeks or days together.
We’re honoured to be supporting their efforts this year. We’ve signed up for the Bluebell Wood 365 Business Club, which gives local businesses in South Yorkshire the chance to support families going through the toughest of times, by sponsoring events, promoting the charity and attending local networking events. The first event we will sponsor is the Birthday Masquerade Ball which will take place on 21 September 2019 at Sheffield City Hall.
Our Managing Director, Phil Goleby said,
“We chose Bluebell Wood as our chosen charity because of their exceptional work in our community. Their small, dedicated team faces huge costs to keep the charity running, and with only 10% of their funding coming from the government, the support of local business such as ourselves is invaluable. We’re honoured to be able to make a difference.”
Head of Fundraising at Bluebell Wood, Helen Mower, is excited about the partnership, “Thanks to wonderful supporters like Cinderella Support Services, we are able to make sure that the children, young people and families at Bluebell Wood receive the best possible care. We’re delighted to have been chosen as Cinderella’s charity partner for 2019 and look forward to an exciting year of fundraising with the team.”
