Access platforms

Experts in high level access with an industry leading fleet of access platforms

Cinderella Support Services are experts at working at height.  Our associated company Elev8 Access Platforms  is one of the UKs leading supplier of specialist access platforms. Elev8’s fleet includes truck mounted access platforms with up to 90 metres of working height, and tracked access platforms that are versatile and light weight.

Each division at Cinderella Support Services has experienced IPAF trained operatives who use access platforms for high level work such as:

  • Tree surgery
  • Gutter Cleaning
  • Window Cleaning
  • Cleaning building cladding
  • Cleaning high level internals of buildings such as factory ceilings
  • High level brick work inspections and repair
  • Gutter inspection and gutter repairs
  • Statutory high level glazing inspections
  • High level glazing repairs
  • Roof inspections and repairs
  • Statutory inspections of high level hanging utilities (for example ventilation ducts or lights)
Truck Mounted Access Platforms

These MEWPs (Mobile Elevating Work Platforms) are mounted directly onto a truck. They are ideal for high level maintenance on buildings sited next to a road or car park where the truck mount access platform can be driven directly to the work site then safely and efficiently provide access to the high levels of a building.

Elev8’s truck mounted fleet range from those with a 19-meter safe working height right up to 90 meter working height.  Access platforms don’t just reach upwards, they reach across, up and over and downwards too.  With a lateral outreach up to 40 meters our access platforms can reach over obstacles such as flat roofs to safely access the high level parts of a building when you can’t set up directly below.

The up and over ability of powered access platforms enables them to boom right over roofs and work safely on the other side.  This is particularly useful when you can’t set up directly below, for example if you need to perform high level building repairs on the side of a building which faces over water.

Tracked Access Platforms

There are some parts of a building that a truck mounted MEWP cannot access and in these cases tracked access platforms are very useful:

  • Maintaining high level areas indoors (e.g. cleaning the air side facing balustrades in internal atriums or high level painting of internal areas).
  • Getting to the high level external areas of a building with restricted access  (e.g. roof and gutter maintenance or window cleaning in courtyards).
  • Safely performing high level building maintenance on parts of a building that face over soft or rough ground.
  • Safely working at height on both external and internal areas where the floor or ground will not safely take the weight of a truck mounted MEWP (for example cleaning the inside of an atrium glass roof).

Tracked access platforms are versatile and lightweight.  They give up to 36m of working height, 18 metres of lateral outreach and when folded in travel position can fit through most entrance doors.

Our tracked access platforms work on duel fuel, meaning they can be powered by mains electric when used indoors to prevent diesel fumes causing a hazard.  They can set up in complicated locations and are a fantastic solution for reaching high level areas inside shopping centres, shopping malls and internal atriums.
